DiSC Profiling

DiSC is a personality profiling tool, used specifically in work situations.

The research-validated model helps you understand yourself and others, saving you time, energy, and money. Better employee communication means efficiency on both individual and company levels.

What information does DiSC give you?

When you use DiSC, you will receive a detailed, personalised report on your working preferences, including

  • your communication style;
  • your work priorities;
  • your motivation style;
  • your delegation style;
  • how you react to, and handle, conflict;
  • what kind of team player you are.

The Power of DiSC

You learn how others think and behave, which might be quite different from you. And that means you can adapt your style to others, when that’s important. Having the flexibility to deal with different people according to their style is a great strength.

DiSC is a rich and intuitive model made up of four basic styles: D (Dominance), i (influence), S (Steadiness), and C (Conscientious). Each style has its own traits and behaviours; all styles have advantages and potential drawbacks.

Everyone is a mix of all four DiSC styles—usually one or two styles stand out. Unlike simple personality tests, there is no perfect DiSC style. Since everybody has a unique behavioural profile, people are walking around all over the planet with different styles and priorities.

Why use DiSC?

DiSC can be used to:

  • bring a team together through mutual understanding;
  • to help a manager adapt to their team members’ different communication styles;
  • improve a manager’s delegation and influencing skills;
  • resolve conflict situations between individuals.

DiSC Profiles Available

DiSC Workplace

Purpose: To enable anyone in an organisation, irrespective of their title or role, to improve the quality of workplace relationships. This is a great tool to use in team-building events.

Scenario: Individuals or teams want or need to improve their working relationships.

DiSC Workplace Model

Profile: The 20 page personalised profile helps learners to:

  • Discover their DiSC® Style;
  • Understand other styles;
  • Build more effective relationships by developing strategies to work more effectively with others.

Delivery: online questionnaire, plus group workshop/ team building event, or 1-1 coaching to recipient.

DiSC Management Profile

Purpose: To give leaders and managers specific strategies for bringing out the best in their teams, maximising employee engagement and productivity. This is a great tool as part of management development programs.

Scenario: This profile is excellent for newly appointed leaders and managers, or those who wish to look at their management practice with a fresh eye. When used widely, it gives peers a shared language in which to share best practice, and give feedback to each other.

DiSC Management Model

Profile: The Everything DiSC Management Profile is a 26-page personalised report that focuses on the following areas:

  • Understanding the individual’s strengths and challenges as a manager and how to adapt to meet the needs of the people they manage;
  • How to direct and delegate;
  • How to increase motivation;
  • How to develop team members.

Delivery: online questionnaire, plus group workshop or 1-1 coaching to recipient.

DiSC 363 for Leaders

Purpose: To provide a leader with honest, detailed and specific feedback from their team, their peers and their superior about their current leadership practice.

Scenario: A leader wants or needs to improve their leadership skills and behaviours.

DiSC 363 for Leaders Model

Profile: The research-validated 22+ page 360° profile helps leaders understand how others see them, using intuitive, easy-to-read visuals, rich cuts of data and feedback breakdowns, plus three personalised strategies for effectiveness.

Delivery: online questionnaire by multiple stakeholders, plus 1-1 coaching to recipient.

The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team™

Purpose: An insightful and practical tool used by a trained facilitator to help build a truly cohesive and effective team.

Scenario: A team does not work optimally together, because it is missing one or more of the key attributes listed in the diagram below. The team may not be aware of what is present and what is missing.

The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team model

Profile: The Five Behaviors profile is a 36 page, highly personalised report that encompasses both team and individual feedback. The high quality report is research-validated and there are strong visuals that support key messages.

The report provides context-specific feedback as well as tips and strategies for improving team effectiveness and the opportunity for building action plans.

Delivery: online questionnaire plus one- or two-day workshop. Individual coaching if requested.
