Topic 2 – A Psychology of Excellence

‘Modelling’ remains at the heart of NLP today. NLP now models excellence in every field – health, sports, communication, teaching and learning, human relationships, business and leadership.

What makes NLP so powerful is that the modelled patterns can be taught to and learned by anyone. NLP models real people, not abstract ideals – what is possible and what has been done. The goal is excellence for all.

The people who are most effective are the ones who have a way of looking at the world that allows them to perceive the greatest number of available choices and perspectives.

NLP is a way of enriching the choices that you have and perceive as available in the world around you. Excellence comes from having many choices.

NLP is an attitude of wanting to know what leads to excellence, and modelling it using the techniques in order to achieve your outcomes. This is known as “a psychology of excellence”.
